Detectives have taken into custody three suspects as investigations in their cases continue.
Bakary Bojang, Sulayman Barrow and Baye Nyass were reportedly arrested in diverse places with suspected prohibited drugs.
DLEAG reported over the weekend that 26-year-old Bakary Bojang was arrested with 60 tablets of Clonazepam at a vehicle checkpoint mounted between Gunjur and Kartong. The suspected drugs were reportedly concealed under the passenger seat an ash-coloured Opel car. Meanwhile, one Sulayman Barrow was reportedly arrested in Gunjur with 57 stones of suspected hashish.
Elsewhere in North Bank Region, an 18-year-old Baye Nyass was reportedly apprehended in Ballanghar village with 11 wraps of suspected Cannabis Sativa.
