Ismailia Koffi on Thursday appeared before the Kanifing Magistrates’ court presided over by Magistrate Mbem Faal. He pleaded not guilty of the charge against him. He was granted bail in the sum of five hundred thousand dalasis with two Gambian sureties who shall deposit their ID Cards and telephone numbers to the court and each surety should pay two hundred and fifty thousand dalasis to the court.
According to the alleged particulars of offense, Ismailia Koffi he did on the 27th November 2022 at Bakoteh in the Kanifing Municipality of the Republic of the Gambia, stole cash amount of D305,000 and 5000 US dollar equivalent to D247,000 from one Ebrima Marong. The case is adjourned to the 21st of February 2020. Sub inspector Jammeh represented IGP.
