Demba Jallow,41, was over the weekend remanded in custody after been reportedly arrested with marijuana. Jallow, resident in Bisareh village, was arrested at Kalaji checkpoint with ten bundles of Cannabis Sativa.
“The suspected Cannabis was concealed in a bag containing charcoal. The said incident happened on January 10, 2022, around 16:45 hours GMT onwards,” revealed DLEAG spokesperson Ousman Saidybah. “He is presently in custody as investigations into the matter continue”, he added.
