The Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) has interdicted four staff members named in alleged counterfeiting of receipts, a reliable source informed this medium. The Ports was forced to act following social media reports of shady deals and underhand tactics at that department of the ports responsible for issuing receipts.
GPA said it has now launched an investigation into the allegations and it’s report would be made public on 15 March. GPA has reportedly suspended the four staff named in the alleged falsification of receipts as public awaits it’s findings next Wednesday.
