Gambian wrestling sensation Building of Club Serekunda Mbolo continued his impressive run in the Senegalese Arena with a commanding victory over Marigo of Club Thies Mbolo on Saturday 15th January 2020, in Stade Manyang Sumareh organized by Seedy Diahateh Production.
Watched by thousands of fans, The Gambian international was at his uncompromising best as he needed less than 3 minutes to overpowered Marigo who was wrestling in front of his home fans.
Building is in his own league, being the first Gambian wrestler to defeat a Senegalese wrestler away when he defeated Sanu in Aren Iba Marr Diop in Dakar. Following his latest victory, the Serekunda based wrestler also became the first Gambian wrestler to record 4 victories in the Senegalese Arena after defeating Sanu, Lafa De Keur Baba, Assan Chass and Marigo respectively.
However, ahead of his encounter with Marigo, the Gambian International called for support from Gambians “I love my country this is why in all my bouts I carry along the Gambian flag, and I always defend it with everything in me. As a young wrestler I’m in need of support and I have been writing letters seeking for support but unfortunately, I’m yet to receive any,” he decried.
