The first Division’s young boys Waa Banjul Football Club who currently occupy the second position with seventeen points the same with Real de Banjul who sit at the top of table are showing they are no pushovers and are ready to go from toe to toe with the league’s big guns.
Waa Banjul after nine games sit second with 17 points and plus 7 goals, Real de Banjul occupies the first position also on 17 points and 10 goals although with a game in hand, the most successful Gambian team Wallidan widely call the blue sits closely third also with 17 points and six goals.
Waa Banjul on Friday the 25th of February at the late Ousman Saho Football Field in Yundum went strength to strength with one of leagues favorite Real de Banjul canceling each other to share the spoils, drawing one all.
Considering the strength and history of Real de Banjul that is more of a victory for Waa Banjul than it is for a point for Real de Banjul. Many football experts will call that a tactical draw for the young boys who are using the ‘’draw method’’ against the big sides and sweeping the minnows.
