Suspected thieves have broken into Sainabou Martin-Sonko’s Kerewan house, The Progress can report. According to informed sources, the suspected burglars carted away Mrs. Martin-Sonko’s suitcase, containing clothes.
The incident reportedly happened shortly after Tobaski as the former KMC CEO joined her family in the Kombos for the feast. Some weeks ago,the Gambia government redeployed Madam Martin-Sonko to Kerewan Area Council as CEO. This followed her strained relations with the opposition-led KMC over allegation of graft.
